I've been playing WoW for a good 5 years now...and I've been in countless battlegrounds and different pve environments such as instances and raids. But let's focus on random instances, shall we? I can not tell you how many pugs I've had to abandon over the years because my party was composed of children under the age of 10. So...Dear Parents, please, respect the ESRB rating on the box that clearly states, "T" for teen, and do not unleash your 8 year old ankle biters upon us innocent folk. You're ruining a lot of people's experiences. We pay $15 bucks a month to enjoy playing the game after a long day's work, not babysit your children. Not to mention...your children could be negatively effected by the harsh internet personalities that linger on the game, they are everywhere. I hope this reaches a few of you parents, and make you think twice about letting your young child in to this kind of environment.

They also pay 15$ to play how ever they want.

I generally play with my son. I have all the chat channels off, guild invites off, filters on, and we don't group for dungeons.

Occasionally we do a BG together. I just hide his chat window entirely for those. :D

and you know they're 10 how?

Most of the time the 10 years olds are more mature then the people in their teens and 20s (In the game anyway).

Don't play an MMO if you don't want to deal with certain people.

That kids 15$ a month is just as good as yours, so deal with it.

How do you know they're under 10?

It's my 15 bucks too, sorry.

I turn off all chat channels, chat bubbles and whispers for my kids. So, not they aren't effected at all.

Screw ESRB, I was playing Final Fantasy 8 when I was seven, and look how I turned out.

Advisory is simply advice. The actual content of the game is what matters. If I don't think my kid can handle gore, he won't play Modern Warfare. If I think my kid can handle the stupid language of a few derps online, he'll play WoW.

Also, I have raided with a guildie who was about ten in the past. Kid main-tanked ToC, and said please and thank you whenever he rolled on gear.
