Point of turtles?

Seriously I just don't understand why anyone would want to turtle. This is like a team in Baseball refusing to grab a bat and step up to the plate! WTF...

The point of battlegrounds is gear...you get gear with honor...win or lose in AV you get better honor/hour by not turtling...so is it just people really suck at math or are they just plain stupid! No one has fun grinding honor so why make the grind worse!

Honestly, how is turtling fun!! It just annoys the hell out of me...the only way I could see turtling being useful is if Blizzard gave us honor based on the amount of time spent in a battleground...Otherwise its just faster to get in and get out.

Blizzard, please put a 15 minute time limit on AV! Who ever is ahead wins! Or just ban people that turtle, I'd be fine with that too..

Turtles have this charm to them. Something about the simplicity of their design. Maybe its because they are so slow that you feel pity for them, and most animals we pity are the ones we think are cute. Like kittens.

It's a viable tactic in PvP situations.

On a completely unrelated note, I like turtles.

I think I found your problem right there.

Some people actually like a challenge. Some people actually like stratagem. If you're playing solely for gear, you're doing it wrong. You play to win, not to throw in the white flag when there is a remote possibility that you would lose.

Honor isn't the primary objective. It is just an added benefit to aid you in your primary objective which is to enjoy your upcoming matches, get stronger and hopefully face stronger opponents.
