Is someone on the forum making you so angry that your butt hurts? Do you need to know what face is behind that mean, hateful silhouette?

Want to find out who they are, and write them a strongly-worded letter?

The Alt-O-Magic Identifizer can help! Thanks to completely legally-acquired Titan technology and Gnomish ingenuity, no one has to go to bed wondering exactly who that was with nasty things to say about your parentage.

You simply give it the name of the foul cur, and after just a moment of processing, the veil of pseudonymity is cast away! ...almost. Not really.

And remember Quinnie Cogshanks for all your completely reliable engineering needs!

(( Like any gnomish invention, this has a totally reasonable chance to fail, and an obnoxious cooldown that even triggers on failures. Five minutes -- deal with it.

This is still only fed by my own browsing of the forums, rather than a abusive scan of everything, and I only pay attention to MG and FM, so it's really only useful for people who frequent those two forums. It only has records for posts I've looked at, storing information that is sent to absolutely everyone who looks at the forums. If you posted on an alt, anyone with the inclination could figure it out.

The search is case-insensitive but requires a complete name match. I've also masked a few accounts, mostly because I can (hah!), but also for at least two of them to avoid spoiling RP stuff.

Wow, what.

Hm. Is there any way it can be modified for what the user of the website scans while browsing the forums?

If your main does not yield any results does that mean you masked it? >.>

EDIT: It works ._o holy cow! There is still some missing stuff it looks like but this is neat-o! ^.^
Rxs
This is the part where you say "STEALIN MAH KEYZ"

Seriously though, off-realm poster, somewhat unusual URL, unlikely claims... Might be legit, might not. Definitely not finding out.

Yeah, I think so.

EDIT: Rxs, I'm on the website and everything looks fine. However, it doesn't seem like the OP is typing like Lito at all.

EDIT2: Confirmed-- it is Lito. Ignored the OP then Lito's post was ignored too.

EDIT3: Confirmed-- it works. Hm, I'm surprised that only my RP alts/clean characters are shown despite posting with multiple other regular characters with the Caristinn persona.

I actually set up my browser extension so it can synchronize back to that server with one click, but I'd have to distribute the extension in order to allow anyone else to contribute data to it. I'd run up against the 5MB database limit for browser extensions pretty quick with that though, so I'd need to sort out a way to only keep the most interesting data.

and "No Matches" is either no data or account masked.

I can confirm that the OP is Lito, simply via the forum ignore function.

If you were smart you'd use the website to find out if the OP really is Lito.

I like to put a good angle on my sales pitches, what can I say?

That's not completely fair; I did mask myself too. Keep people guessin'!
