Dark Simulacrum, does it have a use in pve?
I don't pvp much, but I can imagine that dark simulacrum might be a useful tool from time to time in pvp, but so far I have not found any use for it at all in pve. Are there any mobs or bosses where it's useful?

in PvE it would be OP, it would have to be greatly modified if you want to use it, imagine taking an ability that does insane amount of dmg from a boss and using that ability

It would be so awesome to have spell reflect, you're right.
[Dark Simulacrum] - Has some Very good Uses in a lot of the Heroic Instances, I have grabbed a few very nice spells, I tend to save it for the Healing ones now, so that I can help the healers out. Done SFK Lastnight, and you can get about 80% of the spells cast in there which is very nice :), Life Drain, ticking for 6k+ Each tick and healing u for that much, to Throne of the Tides, Simulacrum the Aoe Witches on a lightening, and get a nice instant cast Chain lightning, hitting for 20K each hit on the mobs.. But I think the best one in there is still the Heal from the Naga :) Heals about half my HP in an instant cast :), So Used wisely it can greatly increase ur DPS, or even help save a tank with Heals :)

It would be so awesome to have spell reflect, you're right.
Except Spell Reflect hardly ever works when you need it. It's just a gimic spell in PvE.
