How exactly does the Tol Barad queue work?

I've queued at 15 minutes, and I've queued 2 minutes out, and had to wait both times. At the same time, people that weren't even online until right before the battle, one came on 20 seconds before battle and got in. Sooo... what kind of picking does it use? It obviously isn't first come first serve, nor is it you queue and move to the top of the line.

Anyone have any clue because the last 3 battles on Greymane I've had to wait in queue... while dungeon hoppers and alt loggers get in instantly.

Was wondering myself, since a friend of mine got the queue at 15 min and I logged in and queued at about 7 or 8 minutes and got in while he didn't.

Honestly, if you queue for the game, you should get the honor regardless of whether you get in or not. Everyone just sits at the bridge the entire fight until the game ends anyways.

Make that 5... 5 queues in a row I haven't been called in for.

Maybe its the classes that are trying to queue? I've queued as a bear tank and always get in, heh
Minyin
Its random. You have the same chance of getting in when queuing at 14:59 as someone queuing at 0:01

Asking how the Tol Barad queue works is like asking the sun how it refuses to shine.
