Conquest points to easy to get?
Me and my friend did 18 2v2 arenas. We lost 12 of them and only won 6. We still hit the Conquest point cap in about 2 hours though.
I think Blizzard should give less for each win or raise the cap. I think it's pretty stupid being able to hit the weekly cap in 2 hours.

good lord no, one of the biggest pains for arena is the slow trickle of points unless your team is awesome (or more accurately, packed with the FotMs)

When we get good pvp gear and we win more then we lose it will be even faster to hit the weekly cap.

umm no because as you win you will face better teams who are also geared

How is it slow? He wasn't talking about "now" he was talking about BC and Wrath. And yeah it was painful. Getting 150-300 points a week. Needing 1500-2500 of them to buy an item.

PvP should have battles decided on skill not gear. I don't see a problem with everyone being able to have the same set of gear more quickly and reliably.
When you can get to the weekly cap in 2 hours it's way to fast IMO.
At that rate, you get about a piece and a half worth of points a week.
A full set of epic pvp gear (I may be slightly off on numbers):
Head: 2200
Chest: 2200
Shoulders: 1650
Legs: 2200
Hands: 1650
Boots: 1650
Belt: 1650
Wrist: 1250
Neck: 1250
Back: 1250
Rings: 1250x2
Trinket: 1650x2
Weapon: 3400
Relic: 700
=26850 conquest points
At the minimum which is 1346 a week, thats 20 weeks... 5 months, to get a full set of epic gear. No, not too easy.

Is the weekly cap enough for any set piece gear? Or any main-hand weapons? If not, then it's working as intended. In your OP, you suggest increasing the weekly cap. How is that good? Reaching the cap does not mean you are getting too many points, it means you can't earn any more conquest points for that week. Increasing it would allow you to earn more points in the already quick method. The reason the cap exists is so the 268 point wins you're getting won't load you up with conquest points.

How is that ANY different from any season of arena? There was always a weekly cap. In BC and Wrath all you had to do was 10 games a week and you could get your points at the end of it. That didn't even take an hour. There was no way to "grind them" and you sure as hell wouldn't get anywhere near 1300 of them in a week unless you were one of the highest rated teams in the battlegroup.
I'm not talking about the over all amount needed. I'm talking about the weekly cap. I think the amount of conquest points you get per win should be lowerd so it takes at least a day of doing arenas to hit the weekly cap.

I suggest raising the weekly cap or LOWERING THE AMOUNT YOU GET PER WIN. It's just plain stupid when you can reach the weekly cap in two hours.

You do realise that you can do Arenas once you're at cap? You may not get points but you can still do them. Back in WotLK it was *Do Arenas for 45 minutes* *Wait a week* *Do Arenas for 45 minutes* *Wait a week*. You didn't even have to win, you could just afk out of them.
they want you to actually play more than arenas, crawl out of your box and explore the rest of the game

This. If you are happy with just hitting the cap at your current rating, you will take 5 months to get geared. That's not really fast. Your cap is small right now, you need a higher rating.
