Justice Points for Quests when max level

Much like the change that was implemented to where xp is converted to gold when completing quests, I think you should also be able to receive justice points for completing quest chains when max level. There are so many great quest lines, and to have a greater incentive to complete them while still progressing your character would be fantastic in my opinion. I'm not saying that questing should equal the rate you can acquire points in heroics or raids, but one or two for each chain completed would be great.

sorry, not your call :(

I don't like it.

I'm fairly neutral, but still leaning to No. I like getting the extra gold off the quests more than something I can easily farm.
Whysman of Bloodhoof
you cant easily farm gold? (doing something wrong)
Oldironsides of Frostmourne
I only suggest this because farming heroics over and over and over again is tedious and in no way enjoyable. Its not even difficult, its been faceroll for quite some time now, and this would revitalize the open world with people completing all those awesome quest lines.

So far, I see only benefits, there are no drawbacks that I can see. JP's are a pve reward, quests are pve. And again, Im not saying 10 JP or what have you, Im suggesting that a suitable amount of time invested in questing should reward you with at least some JP's that you can use to help become geared for raids.

It allows flexibility to gaming preference, and makes use of all those development dollars that blizz spent on creating the quest lines, for phasing, writing, programming.

Anyhow, if you say no, I think you should provide a reason as to why you feel that way.
Nerfëd of Staghelm
You can't easily farm instances for jp? (doing something wrong too)
Oldironsides of Frostmourne
And also, Im not saying that you should get JP's INSTEAD of gold, Im saying, that it should be additional TO the gold.

your taking it out on the wrong guy... i said it lol, and he didnt say it was hard to do dungeons, just that it was lame to have to do so many over and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, .... for one BoA! lol
Oldironsides of Frostmourne
That is in no way an understatement Whys.

I'm not taking anything out on you but you can see how your "farming gold" comment can be applied to the whole JP issue. Side note, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people that find it lame to quest.

I think you guys are forgetting that we will be earning like twice as much JP from instances than we are now. And honestly if you don't want to put at least a minimal effort to grind some of the gear out, then maybe its time to find a mmo that just hands stuff out to everyone.
Snerk of Burning Blade
I gotta say, i like this idea.

Farming heroics, while an effective way to get JP, is easy, but more importantly, monumentally boring.

There are a number of quest chains that I simply dropped at 80 on my main because there was little incentive to complete them when farming minerals/leather/plants/etc is much easier and rewards a fair amount of gold in addition to farming heroics for gold pre-JP.

Getting a small number of JP in addition to gold as a reward for completing quests at 80 would be awesome though. Offer a low amount (something like 2-5JP per, depending on difficulty/etc), and what you get is a lot more players experiencing a lot more of the content (rather than running heroic UTK... again), and opening up more opportunities for world PvP and teamwork between faction members.

In WotLK especially, endgame has been fairly narrow-minded. Farm your badges or points by running dungeons, farm gold by doing your dailies or mats gathering, and sit in Dal otherwise. If JP were offered as a quest reward, players would be getting out and experiencing more of the game content that they're paying for -- discovering factions and lore they might not have before, and getting more bang for their entertainment dollar.
Oldironsides of Frostmourne
Nerfed, noone would FORCE you to quest, like I said, it would'nt be an amount of JP's to make questing more appealing than running heroics, what it would do is give you OPTIONS.

Like others have said, people usually just drop all the quests that wont benefit them in the endgame, and they miss out on so much content.

And I am in no way asking for a handout, or easy gear, I just feel that a couple JP's would make my completion of quests a worthwhile time invested. As it stands people try and maximize their time by doing what is most efficient for progressing their avatars, and this would not compete with that in any way.

If you dont like to quest, simple, dont. But the option will be there for those that do.

hes saying quests and instances give gold and JP. that way people can choose their preference of how they wanna grind, or switch it up

@OP: I do feel blizz might be wary of doing it this way, because that goes against the spirit of an MMO (quest is solo, 5mans are well... 5 players).

Let's also not over look the people that would grind all the way to 85 just to go back and redo all the quests for JP rewards. This would also be counter-productive to the spirit of this game.

i think all that repetative dungeon running has messed with your brain... i think we all know that not everyone likes to quest... but doesnt mean that everyone likes to run the same dungeons over and over... (you get the idea lol) as the only means to get JP.

you gotta think before you speak.
Nerfëd of Staghelm
I never said anyone was forcing me to do anything but thanks for trying to put words in my mouth.

People that want to quest and enjoy it would still do so regardless of JP. You want an extra reward for doing something that is entirely optional. Asking for points that are "dungeon drop only" to be dropped from quest is in essence asking for a handout.

As for me, I still quest in between cue times on my dps'ers and I still get my full share of content without needing an extra reward.
