Boomkin pvp CATA
This is a PVP THREAD about Boomkin Survivability in PVP.
I REPEAT to all the DUMBASSES.

To all the LazerChikins out there PewPewin gnomes or what not.... BIG UPS.
Boomkin is an art in PVP and whoever says otherwise simply doesnt understand the spec and its gameplay.
Before you start judging my skills and understanding of Boomkin ill just tell you in short my experience as a Boomkin in arenas.
2v2.
Season 6 went Full time PVP. Got to 2150 with Frostmage/Boomkin.
Current Season i was rated 2147 Highest with a MUTI Rogue/Boomkin.
Also was 2100 mark with Ele Shammy/Boomkin and Frost Mage/Boomkin.
All comps were played at 2250-2350 MMR.
it was hard to break 2100 with all comps cous of LOCKS, DKS and FROST MAGE/SPRIESTS. and simply becouse i am CBF =).
ON FROSTMOURNE. BG9 aka BLOODLUST.
Name was SOLITUDO (favorite LTJ Bukem Tune.)
Until they buffed starfall i was the only PVP boomkin on Horde Side FROSTMOURNE or so i've been told.
I was never lucky enough to find 3s and 5s and it really didnt attract me as much as 2s because i was getting my ass shutdowned for eternity by anything with half a brain. OR being CCed like crazy.
I XFered here a week ago to help IRL friend DK with a 232 Weapon and Furious to get 1800 for a weapon.
ANYWAY... TO THE POINT...
WHY IN EVERY BLUE POST I READ FOR THE LAST 2-3 YEARS OF PLAYING, I NEVER SEE A BLUE ADDRESSIN THE SURVIVABILITY ISSUE BOOMKINS ARE HAVING IN PVP!??!?!?!?!?
i mean you keep saying how important and how much time you spend "fiixing and balancing" and buffing resto and feral... esp. RESTO. but you never say anything about boomkins.
ALL YOU KEEP DOING IS GIVING US MORE DAMAGE AND MORE DAMAGE and NOW you dumbed down the spec to 1 button and in CATA im gonna have some MUCHROOMS!??!?! THAT EXPLODE!?!? I MEAN WHO THE HELL THINK S OF THIS STUFF?!?!?
HE NEEDS TO BE PAID A VISIT AND SMACK ED ( dw im not gonna look for the guy... im all the way in Australia)
A 12 YEAR OLD who played Boomkin for 2 hours can come up with better mechanics then u, sir.
Don't get me wrong i love that we getting silence and knockdown but still i see no talent changes that can save my FATASS from being Chewed on.
EVERYCLASS has a talent or a spell that makes them either IMMUNE or makes them take REDUCED dmg.
IF you say BARKSKIN... Barkskin is only 20%.... whats 20%??.. its nothing.
Most of the time it gets dispelled or simply just doesn't do it. I want 2 or 3 seconds of having some sort of window of opportunity to SURVIVE THE OMGWTFBBQ BURST.
Now i read you trying to do something with eclipse, and i hear you are failing.
Instead of the crit on Starfire after some 10 or 12 wrath, that you added another half a second of cast to, make it like a controlled 4 set proc.. So you cast 4-5 OR 2-3 IF CRIT wrath then u get INCEASED cast time or INSTA starfire with Increaced CRIT RATE. Makes more sence to me. Keep the damage for wrath on Solar side thou.
If you read all that and have a solution or a mechanic to help Boomkin aka BALANCE spec in PVP, please post it. Im very intersted in others opinion about the Surva in pvp as Boomy.
Forums don't matter as they probably were put here to give us the ILLUSION that our say matters in Blizzard Activisions plans of gaming domination, but i still stand by my opinion and want others to hear it.
I really do hope that ONE day i am able to log in, kill some gnomes in arena or a battleground and actually leave SATISFIED.. I played many classes and specs in endgame PVP and PVE and gotta tell you that being a PHATOWLKIN THING, shooting down gnomes and dwarves, is just pure awesomeness.
FOR THE HORDE 4LIFE.
PS. I am very high on very strong hydro =) and am very disgusted with the way things are looking for Balance in CATA as i am very much looking forward to its release.
