Good 3s comps

Just want to get some opinions. Me (holy paladin) and my arms warrior buddy are looking to put together a good 3s comp. What's good to put with that kind of a team besides DK/Ret pally?

First off.. what you suggested: "Holy Pal - DK - Ret" is 100% retarted.

Here are some comps you could run fairly easily.

<Hpal - Warrior - Disc Priest> // Double healer warr A.K.A Dispel Cleave
<Hpal - Warrior - Ele Sham> // Quite viable.
<Hpal - Warrior - Mage>
<Hpal - Warrior - Hunter> // Odd comp, but it can work.

On a side note, you can always ditch your warrior and go run with wizards.

I didn't suggest DK+ret pally..... I said warrior with DK OR ret pally.

My bad, had a typo.. but still, Hpal - Warrior - Ret would be silly.

Yeah, that's true. But I mean, I considered it because two HoF is OP :P. Plus it's a lot of stuns going around.
Tails of Alexstrasza
Yes, but it lacks peels and control. It could work, but only to a certain point.
Duen of Stormreaver
Well, you made some pretty good suggestions. If it isn't too much to ask, would you mind explaining them? Like, why it would work?
Tails of Alexstrasza
<Hpal - Warrior - Disc> works quite well. There's many ways to play this comp... the most common is to have the priest spam dispelling (offensive / defensive) and mana burning when the opportunity presents itself. (I don't play a priest, but this is what ours mainly does). Also, fears carry a heavy weight in this comp. The warrior basically does what he wants until something dies.

<Hpal - Warrior - Mage>. Mage CC + Balanced warrior damage. It's an unusual comp and you need 3 skilled players to run it successfully. I've never run this, but i've played this comp quite a few times.

<Hpal - Warrior - Ele> Bloodlust / Heroism -- High burst -- many defensive capabilities.

Ty for the advice.

Some of the most famous ones would be:

Hpally - Disc - Warrior: As others suggested, it is a double healer, also called dispel cleave. Though shaman or resto druids work as well, disc is by far superior compared to other healers due to their offense capability

Hpally - DK - Warrior: The famous TSG. But not as strong as it was back in S6 or early S7, though it is one of the most fast paced(not implying faceroll) comp.

Hpally - Warrior - Mage or Ele or Warlock: Mage or Ele would be better than warlock. This comp puts out constant pressure and kill with sudden burst, coupled with CC or after opponent's D CDs are used(though this is based only from fighting such comp, as I have never ran this type of comp before)

Hpally - MM hunter - (Prot only)Warrior: Good peels, good caster-lock cycle, decent burst. But this comp was toned down majorly after warbringer nerf back in the day.

I agree with everyone here, but am adding enhance shaman and feral druid.

Your pecking order should be, Disc, Ele, DK, Mage, Feral, Enhance, Hunter, Lock.

But above all else is skill, find someone who plays on the same level as you.

Edit: Adding Feral druid.

HPaladin - Warrior - Warlock is one of the top comps there is. No clue why you guys seem to think a Warlock would/should be a last choice

TsG is much simplier to play, I will give you that one

The lock has to be amazing at kiting, you dont have druid peels like WLD or DK peels with Shadowcleave

he has hand of freedom and BoP
Obatala of Daggerspine
Beastcleave.

Hpally/BMHunter/Ench Shaman

Sure if matches last 12 secs. RMP is going to dispel all your BOP and Freedom on the lock, priest can't dispel cyclone on the rogue.

You could always run MANCLEAVE...
Northern of Sargeras
Your best options with Holy Pally Warrior for a 3rd would be (non DK/Ret which you mentioned)

1. Ele Shaman
2. Mage
3. Feral Druid
4. Enh Shaman
5. Disc Priest (double healer - but the warrior has to be amazing)
6. Shadow Priest
7. Prot Warrior
8. MM Hunter (If your warrior is prot)

These are in no particular order.

I take everything i said back, I vote Mancleave.

Any team with with a lock is toast.
