I just figured out today that i could grant a couple of levels to my friend that referred me to this game, he was 17 and i was 19 so i leveled him twice!. But what i would like to know is how big of a level distance can some of his characters level me?

Much appreciated if i could get an answer, thanks.

Only the person who was recruited can grant levels. the person who did the actual recruitment can't grant levels. and it's every 2 levels that you earn, you get to grant 1 level to your friend.

Thank you.

Also, you should make sure to use them before the friend time expires. I recruited my friend and we were leveling together. I think he granted me a level here and there (because he had a little more free time to play than I did and so leveled a little more.)

But when the time ran out, he had like 40-50 levels he could have granted one of my characters or an alt (would have been some nice "free leveling"), but since we didn't use them by then, they're gone. Once the "friend" time expires, you can't even grant the levels you've already stocked up for your friend. So make sure to use them (even if just powerleveling an alt of his) or you WILL lose them.

As for the mechanic, ever 2 levels you get, you can give him 1. It also ONLY works on his characters that are lower level than you and ONLY works up to level 60 (just like the bonus XP from quests and kills.)

So at level 60, you could, potentially, get one of his characters from level 1-30, or from 31-60. But you can't at, say, level 80, get one of his characters from, say, 30-70.

I'm not sure if you still get 1 grantable level for every 2 as you get past 60. I wanna say yes but I'm not sure. What I am sure of is that you can't grant levels above 60, that the other person has to be lower level than your character granting the levels, and that once the time expires, the levels are all lost and cannot be used. (I wish me and my friend had known THAT. But now you know, so make use of it while you can.)

But does anyone know the level difference you can level them up? like can i get to 50 then level my partner 25 levels?

Thanks a bunch.

you get 1 level to grant for every 2 you go up. that only applies to the recruit too, and you can only level a character below your current level.

for example, if you level up from 1-60, you can grant 30 levels, and since you'd be at level 60, you can grant 30 levels to any character below level 60 on the account of the person that recruited you. i.e, you can give 10 levels to a toon at level 30, and 20 levels to a different toon at level 30 (totaling 30 granted levels), or you can give 30 levels to a toon at level 30, effectively instadinging them to 60 (all of which would have to be on your friends account). usually, the latter is what people tend to do, since leveling 1-30 is easier than level 30-60, so granting free levels at higher levels much more beneficial to granting free levels at lower ones.

hope that helps..
