Best range dps class
hey i am resto this is my main... i want a dps class, i decided i like range dps so was wondering what is best for dps like i don't just wanna be top 5 in a 10 man raid i wanna get within top 3
Try a hunter, warlock, or mage.

I'd narrow that and say warlock and mage are your best bet. Honestly though, unless you're going to be in a top-tier raid guild with everyone playing their class to the maximum level, skill is a much bigger determinant at this point than it ever has been in the past. You can put up a serious fight with any class.
Our top 3 usually has an enh shaman in it. He's wicked.

And on the majority of fights I make the top 3 very consistently and I'm a friggin shadow priest. Exactly my point, even the weaker classes at this point can overcome a lot of the issues with superior skill.

And serious underskill can make you want to kick a pure.
I just hate using the word skill with wow pve for obvious reasons, but there are just some people who don't have it.
