Three days ago. Three days ago i decided to buy a 25-man Ventrilo and a WoW card and embark on this rerolling adventure. I made a post on the forum about looking for people to reroll with me and start a guild up, expecting a few people that may be interested. The results were mindblowing.
Within the first day i had at least 20 forum replies, people asking questions, what server it was, whether we would be playing Horde or Alliance, and even asking for the Vent info. A lot of people are not having fun in WoW as of late. For some, the population is a problem. Low populations lead to low activity, while high populations lead to everyone being impersonal.
Many people's guilds and friends have stopped playing, and there's little to no incentive to log in. Things don't seem to hold you for very long without that social element. I am trying to bring back that social element so many people are feeling has been lost since they came back to WoW or since they started playing. It is only the third day, and we had 11 people on Ventrilo, sharing stories and making a chatty, fun group of players.
I plan to put 100% of my free time into raising this guild and getting more awesome players in here. I sware i have never laughed so much in one night in the past two nights while chilling in Ventrilo with the group of people we have already-Marmol, the lonely lock(Its a hard Lock Life for us), SomaHoliday, the girl that likes to burn various foods and just doesn't give af. Melrok, the chill, laid back guy, and a lot more that ive met that i really enjoy talking and chilling with.
Reroll a new character and join us on the Frostwolf (PvP) server on the Horde side. Ask any member of the guild Unreal for an invite. Join us on Ventrilo as well. I would suggest choosing a class/roll that you haven't played before. If you join us, be sure to ask someone in the guild to join you for questing/dungeons, or at least try to be active in guild chat!
