Raided with a 12 years old.

Glypherology 1 Undead Priest of Mal'Ganis.
You know what's funny ? I think kids nowadays grow up in such a computerized technology-saturated environment they actually know how to play a video game and holy hell do they absorb information quickly.

Either the guy in question was exceptionally brilliant or excessively quick to learn, but he understood mechanics faster than the other 31-years old tank we had (who talked to him condescendingly I might add). The reasons I say this are simple and stem from his tanking of Ultraxxion as a Feral Druid.

1) He was told to use his "button" when Fading Twilight had 1-2 seconds left, which he did. At some point however, like some of you may know, the button wasn't back on cooldown fast enough for Hour of Twilight, so he ended up soaking at the same time as the other tank. He commented on it and said 1-2 seconds must be way too late for the click, which I confirmed and corrected saying 3 seconds was probably ideal as far as I knew.

2) The 31-years old tank kept telling his younger counterpart who should soak and when to do it, but often got confused because of unexpected Fading Twilight debuffs. The 12-years old eventually said "Alright I'll call the soaks because this is not working at all."

3) Eventually, we called for a Rebirth on a healer, which he promptly shifted out to cast, and then reverted back to his bear form without the priest being resurrected. When asked why he didn't Rebirth he said "Paladin got Fading Twilight I'll have to soak too soon and you might take the resurrection during Hour of Twilight, that would be a waste. Not that I don't trust you, but...yeah."

4) When he did cast Rebirth after Hour of Twilight, a Death Knight had used his own Raise Dead to resurrect a bad Rogue who didn't understand the concept of Hour of Twilight. He realized it quickly and went back to Bear form, saying "Did you really use our single battle resurrection on a Rogue on a healing intensive fight ? Just wipe it."

I explained the fights starting from Morchok, and similar comments were made throughout the encounters by him. Sure, he's young and has the straightforward personality and semi-lack of taboos due to not learning "how to behave" socially (aka limit your speech because of others' inept learned behaviors)...

I wish people stayed that open-minded and information-absorbing forever; it seems we're hellbent on teaching people opinions rather than facts, as well as making them sensitive to making mistakes. The kid made mistakes when not explained what to do, and didn't feel bad about it. The few times he screwed up, he openly said something along the lines of "Did I miss something in the explanation? Cause I really didn't know what to do". Same thing when he didn't understand something; no "reputation" or "status" to lose, he simply kept asking until he understood properly, even if it took an attempt + a wipe for him to see in practice what theory we were trying to convey.

I'd like to have more of him around. I'd be the happiest 22-year old WoW player ever.
