To the adults of WoW..

Dear Adults,

Please give 17 year old people and under and under a chance to raid, and stop shunning us. Most of us are competent raiders. And please don't say "I don't like censoring myself on vent" or "You guys are so immature" because I'm fairly positive I'm more mature then many of the 'adults' on Illidan. Please don't pretend we don't hear that language in school on a daily basis, or that we don't use it. I don't know how middle school was for you guys, but I assure you in my school, there's plenty of profanity.

Before you say "N00b was obviously rjectEd by a 18 and up guild", I'm currently extremely happy with my current guild.

I'm 20 now.

I'll tease anyone 19 & younger callin' them kid (because I totally can now!), but I don't expect them to be any worse at the game than myself.

If you havn't figured out that you can hide your age on the internet, you're not old enough.

Well I am satisfied that you said please. All to often that seems to be a lost word amongst the spoiled younger generation.

That being said, children should be seen and not heard.

Imagine you are on a Wed night and your 10m group want to keep pushing on a certain boss but you have to go to school the day after and your parents are telling you "go to bed kid'o!", you just screw up their progress.

Unfortunately blame your peers for this, not the guilds with an age requirement.

im 16 now & been playing for 3 years...i swear most adults are more immature than the kids

Really? I didnt know this happened in non 18+ guilds. I figure if you can show up and your not bad than they would let you in. Also how do they know your age? Its kind of like saying your not let in a guild because of being male or female. If its the case then dont say what one you are and by the time they figure it out it wont matter anymore.

BUT, I have no problem with younger players (I won't call them kids, I'm only 18 myself.) as long as they don't act like children. I already hate being around immature people in real life, so why let myself be surrounded by them in a game that I can choose whether they're able to annoy me or not?
