Proof! Vote kick!!
This is a direct copy/paste. I asked the GM staff about the supposed Vote to Kick immunity. Clearly, there is no such thing. It does not exist, so, when you have a long cooldown timer, it is your own fault.
Let me be perfectly clear. Coming directly from a GM, there IS NOT VOTE KICK IMMUNITY!!

Greetings,
It is not possible for player to build up an immunity to being kicked. The vote kick cooldown is based off the person trying to initiate the kick. The less you start a kick, the shorter cooldown it is to kick another player. The cooldown is also increased when you vote yes to kick. The cooldown can be decreased by voting no and not starting any vote kicks. Hopefully this will clear up some confusion for you.

I thought this was common knowledge?
I thought this was common knowledge?
Not on these forums. A LOT of people seem to think that if someone gets kicked repeatedly, they build up an immunity to being kicked. This is not the case.
Lol it's stupid anyways. They should just make it so that every single person in the party or the majority atleast has to individually go in and Vote to Kick the person... if a big thing pops up in the middle of the screen that says "A VOTE HAS BEEN INITIATED TO KICK ___ YES or NO" everyone clicks Yes just because it's instinct... you assume people have a good reason and generally speaking people like to agree.
I thought this was common knowledge?
It's not. People would often mindlessly click yes on every vote and wonder why they can't initiate a vote when they really needed to.

Sadly, this.
Because the message reads something like "That player can't be kicked for another 4 hours" they assume that the player has kick immunity rather than it being the Vote-kicker that has the cooldown.
Um....yeah.
no
I hardly ever kick people.
and when I do, half the time "player can not be kicked for 4 hrs"

Liar.
Seriously, according to this GM response, your vote kick timer is your own fault.
I don't think I've ever had a timer for Vote Kicks, but I'm very tolerant for the most part and just carry the failures.

Leaving a group early increases your kick timer. Voting to kick in a guild group causes a massive increase to your kick timer.
Even just once in a guild group of 4 gets you over two hours.

I've gotten a 2 hour message and kicked a different person in the same run less then a minute later. Both were from the same guild and being douches.
So my question is why a 2 hour cooldown for one and not the other?
If you want Vote Kick immunity, gear, gem and enchant your equipment and learn how to truly play your class.
I have not been kicked for nearly a year now.
I know how to play.
