I just got out of a BG in which one glance at the team makeups and you knew we were gonna get slaughters. 9 players each side. We had 4 hunters, they had 4 mages, we had a mix of other DPS classes, as they did, but they had two healers, a resto druid and holy paly. One of our team was also AFK. Yup. Slaughter.

So the horde, god bless 'em, decided to farm us as well.

Seeing as how you can instantly know the outcome of a battleground, pretty much by looking at the teams, (he with the most healers typically wins) - not always, but typically, wouldn't it be nice if we could vote to surrender with no penalty?

As it is, people start AFKing, and other poor schmucks get sucked into the crummy situation, and one after the next people get stuck with the deserter penalty.

After a team surrenders, the other would just take the win, given to them graciously by Blizzard. This would be far less demoralizing, you wouldn't have to endure stupid people jumping around and making chicken noises, or individual players acting as though they outplayed you while having two healers on them.

So we could queue for a healer ground, uh sorry, Battleground, and we should have to play for at least 5 minutes, and then the option to surrender would be available. You should get nothing for it, otherwise the Alliance (at least in my battle group) would go for it every time. Heh.
