LFR at it's best - Ticket answered by Blizzar
My ticklet: "[Name] on [Blank] realm rolled for a hunter mail belt and won it when he already had an ilevel 394 belt on compared to the ilevel 384 belt he got which was: Belt of the Beloved Companion.
This I feel like is griefing of the game. He most likely rolled on it to win it and trade it with someone for something he actually doesn't have. Please fix it.
Answer from Blizzard: (Second Half of the ticket) The Need Before Greed loot system empowers players to advertise their level of interest for an item by providing two schools of value: "need" and "greed." As such, it is the right of each party member to choose the value of an item as it pertains to their desires. While opinions may differ amongst the group in some cases, such situations are expected to be resolved via party discussion rather than through Game Master intervention.
When using the Raid Finder, there is an additional element to ensure that items go to players who are actively filling their selected roles. Characters whose class can fill a role matching the intended spec of an item (tank, healer, physical DPS, magical DPS) will gain 100 points to their roll when choosing Need. Please note that the system has limitations; it cannot detect the exact stats a class prefers or the current spec of the player. To this end, we've implemented equip restrictions on many items to lock them to certain classes.
Also please note that this system will only allow players to roll on items from the first kill of each boss per week. While you are free to kill the same boss multiple times using the Raid Finder, only the first from that week will be eligible for loot.
So... apparently rolling need on an item to disenchant it or sell it to a vendor for 20g is allowed because it "as such, it is the right of each party member to choose the value of an item as it pertains to their desires."
Now, I rarely complain on the forums, but seriously? I didn't ask for you to give me the belt, Blizzard. I'm complaining about how !@#$ed up your LFR loot system is. Oh, while you're at it, please have more hunter loot drop. I've seen one hunter loot over the span of 4 runs (both halfs). Kkthxbye.

Because you sound like you need it. =\
If you had bothered to do a search before posting this, you'd know that Blizzard is aware that the loot system is flawed and they're working on perfecting it for MoP. It was rushed in order to get LFR out in 4.3.
Someone else is needing my content, please fix.

Yep. The definition of need used to be MS>OS but with anonymity people tend to just take everything they can.
