Pearl Harbor Day release of Cat not P.C.?
wowhead and mmo-champion are reporting 12.7 as the cat release date. They have good evidence; read the other posts for that,
don't want to add to the million people debating the merits of using a combination of blue posts, data mining, foreshadowing in quest
lines, and some logic to figure it out.
what i want to know is why people are offended that the release is the same day as Pearl Harbor?
Personally, I see aligning the release with a historical cataclysmic event to be kinda clever. Are any of you offended by it? I'm not.

Assuming it's even going to be released that day, which it probably won't.
who's complaining about it
i would guess that any date picked would be the anniversary of a terrible event, given humanities need to create them.

Holy crap, really?
They're taking it back, along with "porch monkey".

May 25.
The day Pearl Harbor the movie was released.

sure looks like it. pearl harbor day for cataclysm. makes sense to me.
Pearl Harbor day is a day of mourning. To remember all of the innocent people that were slaughtered on that tragic day.
It's not a day for a bunch of videogame nerds to be celebrating.

No, I mean people are actually offended?

I had no idea there even was a Pearl Harbor day, which might represent a portion of the populace. In all honesty, though, who cares? How could you possibly construe any relation at all to either thing?
Q u o t e:
It's not a day for a bunch of videogame nerds to be coped up in their room without any way to communicate with the outside world.
The irony,it is staggering.

It's the internet.
People are offended by pudding.

It's an online game. Im sure there will be some form of communicating with the outside world, as long as we talk to someone in a different basement.

...More or less. It's also the day Marquis de Lafayette attempted to enter the American military, the day the first man was killed by lethal injection...

I have yet to meet anyone who actually mourns Pearl Harbor.
Every day in humanity's history is a tragic day because as someone said, we keep making them.

90% of my shock in ingenious, the other 10% is reserved for the dim light of hope that continues to fade.

I'm just worried about these forums sounding like a hyper-stereo version of John Goodman in Big Lebowski.

So you're going tell people when and how they should they mourn? So Dec. 7 should be stuck as an useless day of sitting around just because Japan attacked us? It happened half a century ago, people are over it. May as well mourn a day Romans burnt down a city.
Q u o t e:It's the fact that they'll be celebrating on a day that's supposed to be about mourning.
