Admit it, you did the DK starting quest alot!
I do out of pure boredom, run the entire starter quest, delete toon and start again a few days later.
I have a bad tendency to want a deathknight, get bored about halfway through outlands, then delete them...think I'm on my 7th
deathknight
I did it three time.
I do it to try and beat my personal best time. I am standing in front of orgrimmar in 1 hour 16 minutes. Its that damn torture
quest where you have to wait on the ability to proc on the random mob. If it fires off fast, I have a shot.
did my first dk, got him to 70, then got bored and deleted him, made another, got him to 68, deleted him, then they got out the
thing were you could do it cross server and did it several times over a mass amount of servers, good times.
I think the DK starter quests are probably the best that Blizzard came up with.
That being said, though, they've taken a page out of that book for the Worgen starter quests, giving an overall narrative and using phasing to make the player feel like something is actually being accomplished.

This.. I really want to level a dk, if only so that I have a toon that I don't have to level through the dreaded 40-58 stage, and to have someone to be a farmer.
I just... can't do it.
I'm on my 8th DK. I like to Starting Area but then it gets a tad boring come Outland.
I don't get why people delete toons, i've never deleted a toon above level 30. :S
Just did it for my 18th time a few days ago.
I want a DK, but the venture into Outland forbids it.
Plus the starting area is pretty cool how it phases.
That said, I have leveled 20+ Taurens to ~15-20 range, once I leave Mulgore all hope is lost and they get deleted. I really want a Tauren though!

I've done it 6 times to date, 2 of them are 80s, the rest are anywhere from 58 to 75

Because a level 60 dk is the equivalent to a lvl 5 of any other toon. Even if I delete it, I only have to start from lvl 55 again.

I was mainly referring to the guy saying he deleted his 70 DK, then rolled another and got it to 68.
Just makes no sense to me! D:

I equip only a single one of the devices so I can get a half dozen procs per mob just to speed things up a bit. I do nothing but auto attack, as if I kill the bastard, I have to dash after another one and that wastes time. Other time sink is the miner/ghoul quest at the start. Ive gotten 4 in a row, and had times where ive killed a dozen without a single ghoul spawning.
In order to get the best time possible, id need to get 5 fast ghouls, I HAVE gotten him to confess on first proc ever. And then go for the big battle when its already started so I can turn in for credit faster. I have yet to get that all to happen at once. But someday.... someday.
yeah ive done it like 10 times and I still think death knights are corn dogs.
Wow.. I have only done it once.

Because leveling one is so horrifyingly easy, that unless you're overloaded with achievements and raid gear, even an 80 character doesn't hold much meaning anymore. I deleted an 80 warrior, and had another in less than 2 weeks with heirlooms.

But... Why? That just seems like a massive waste of time to me. :/

I was noobish at the time, he had a cross between, healing pally gear and dpsing gear, and was an unholy tank,
I know, i regret it, i forgot to send his money to another toon, so i lost about 500g and he had the black bear mount QQ
