Duke Nukem is a game where all the kiddies thought the guy was cool because he says things like :

"I'll rip your head off and sh!t down your throat"

due to the fact they were/are bullied at school and wish they were that tough so people could "respect" them as if they deserve it.
The game will be like playing a 1999 game in 2010 on a modern console. Would you go out to the store and buy final fantasy 4 for Wii for 50$? Those who will buy this game would.

It was a bad game then, will ruin the IP now.
It wont kill wow, let alone even touch 0.1% of its playerbase.

I suspect the reason the game will only touch "0.1%" of WoW's playerbase is because the other 99.9% haven't left the basement since 2005

I think they are going to delay till December 2012. Because I've always said that the day Duke Nukem Forever comes out is the day the world ends.

He wasn't cool because he said that. He was cool because after you beat the end boss he did exactly that.

The 3D was really fun if you souped up the starter pistol and blew everything about 6 feet back every time you took a shot. It was a great relaxer after getting home from school.

Everyone deserves respect. People like you who would deny them that basic right are the root problem of society today.

That game has been in dev for like, 15 years, canceled 2-3 times, it's gonna be a killer for SURE.

The problem is anyone old enough to truly appreciate what Duke Nuken was (myself for example) no longer really cares if the game ever does come out, and if it does, wont be high on our list of must plays anymore at this point. And anyone to young to have experienced DN when it was new also wont care because...well just who the hell does this Nukem guy think he is anyway.

On a side note, +5 internet to anyone who remembers playing the very first Duke Nukem sidescroller/platformer game on there computers.

Yes, we should respect people who try to impose themselves and their beliefs on us too, who, by doing so, do not respect us, like the jews, muslims and christians. I bet mr.respect belongs to one of those groups. Respect is just as utopic as no poverty. How about they do leave their basement and look at how the world works a bit.

In the USA, you even have to respect the Flag which is responsible for a ton of murders every year, in lands that aren't even their own.

Respect is only a word. It looks good when put in certain texts that ultimately serve to do one thing: Manipulate others.
